Green Lentil Soup (Soup-e Adas)
This nutritious vegan soup is enjoyed throughout the middle east. Soup-e Adas is a light, tomato based green lentil soup infused with turmeric, sumac and lemon. Although simple in ingredients, it is packed full of flavour.

Green Lentil, Onion, Garlic, Tomatoes, Salt, Pepper, Sumac, Lemon Juice, Vegetable Bouillon (Salt, Vegetable Oil (Palm, Sunflower), Potato Starch, Sugar, Maltodextrin, Yeast Extract, Flavourings (Celery), Carrots (2.4%), Onion Powder (2%), Spices (Celery Seeds, Turmeric, Pepper), Parsley), Parsley, Turmeric.

Keep frozen below -18°c. Once defrosted store below 5°c. Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours. Follow the hob or microwave guidelines but cook for 6 minutes, stir, then 2 minutes.
Best cooked from frozen. Cooking appliances vary, this is a guide only. Ensure that food is piping hot before serving. Do not re-heat.
HOB FROM CHILLED
Allow to defrost. Empty contents into a saucepan, put on a medium heat and bring to the boil before serving.
MICROWAVE FROM FROZEN
Remove outer packaging. Pierce film lid. Heat on full power for 9 minutes (850W). Peel back film and stir through. Re-cover. Heat on full power for 2 minutes (850W). Stand for 2 minutes.
